Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup yogurt (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel the banana and place it in a blender.
- Add the oats, milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract (if using) to the blender.
- If you like your smoothie cold, add ice as well.
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Note: You can add some additional ingredients like nuts, seeds, protein powder or berries according to your taste. You can also make it overnight by soaking oats in milk or yogurt and add the rest of the ingredients in the morning.
