Homemade Garlic Bread


 

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette or french bread
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Cut the bread lengthwise in half and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the butter and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  5. Brush the garlic butter evenly over the cut surfaces of the bread.
  6. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the bread.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve the garlic bread warm, and enjoy!

You can also add some herbs like parsley, basil or oregano to give it more flavor.
